As the principal investigator of the "BeLISAC" project, the national research and education network of Bangladesh, BdREN (Bangladesh Research and Education Network) has made significant contributions to the project. They have taken the responsibility of disbursing individual co-Applicant all the financial support to be available through BdREN from Asi@Connect project, preparing the specifications of the servers to be procured, recruiting the “Female Engineer", arranging Capacity Development Programs for ten (10) NREN and University Engineers, arranging internship for female interns. As per the "Female Engineer" recruitment program, Saima Hossain Faria will be joining BdREN.
She will get a platform to develop herself as she will be groomed by an expert to be appointed by NORDUnet. This will again work as a deterrent for gender disparity. She will be mentoring the internship program for female interns. She will get the opportunity to showcase her activities to the outside world (outside APAN community). Her praiseworthy performance will uplift the image of the APAN community.
